About the 21st Century Populism Observatory
Created in 2020, the 21st Century Populism Observatory is constituted as an international project and research group. It brings together researchers from Brazilian, Portuguese and other national universities, interested in studying the phenomenon of populism from its media relations in different countries.
In defense of democracy and strengthening of citizenship, the Observatory of Populism intends to mobilize citizens in general and researchers in particular, through the promotion of conferences, colloquiums, seminars and other research and citizen awareness activities.

It is intended for the general public and, mainly, for those who wish to develop research on the project\'s interface. Besides the main information in the reference, the project team provides a descriptive summary for each of the materials available in the repository, in order to facilitate the survey of specialized literature.
